Great news!! We are excited to share that our program was featured in the latest issue of Hinduism today****** 🎉🛕🎉
The article explores the evolution and impact of the Bala Vihar program initiated by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda in the US in the 1970s.
It traces the trajectory of our program from its humble beginnings to its current widespread reach. It also acknowledges that our Bala Vihar program has become synonymous with imparting Hindu values and philosophy to children and adults alike.

2025 New Year’s Day Celebrations!
The New Year’s Day program commenced punctually, starting with Sri Ganesha Pooja led by Nirmitamma and guided meditation. We were fortunate to have CHYKs, Devas, and Devi sing HIS glories, creating a positive atmosphere with the chanting of Sri Ganesha Atharvasheersha.
The dance recital by our Yuvas was a highlight. The event was a beautiful way to welcome the New Year at Chinmaya Omkara, reflecting on Pujya Gurudev’s teachings.
We sincerely thank all volunteers for their selfless contributions and wish everyone peace, wealth, and health in the coming year.
Maha Mrityunjaya Homam we had at CMNWI Omkara on April 6th, 2024.
CMNWI celebrated 4th anniversary of chanting Maha Mrutyunjaya Mantram 108 times collectively on mondays which started on April 13th of 2020 by performing Samuhika Mrutyunjaya Homam in the Holy presence of Pujya Swami Sharananandaji & Respected Nirmitamma on April 6th 2024. Sincere gratitude to all sponsors & pariticpants.
